That's what I need to start doing... I had two very cute outfits today.
I had a job interview today, the voice-mail said I was set for 4:30, I arrive at 4:15 and they tell me the interview was pushed back to 5:00... okay fine. I wait. Then 5:00 comes and the girl tells me Oh, sorry we don't have "time" basically and I'll have to come back Friday! I wanted to slap the shit out of her! How fucking inconsiderate! Gas is not cheap! I think I really want to call their DM because that was so fucked up! I was so excited and to be bolted by that bullshit. Don't even wanna be surrounded by people who treat others like that. I really need a job though...

I also got a great work out in today. I hate working out, but I'm proud of myself for doing it. Hopefully I'm not too lazy tomorrow and I continue to go!

Afterwards my best friend came over to study.. I love him : ) & my cousin always comes by to eat (if not anything else) & we watched Bad Girls Club. I just wanted to blog about my day before laying my head down!

I didn't do much but chill and cater to my own happiness.
I'm usually stuck on hanging w/ my best friends (because YES I do have fun w/ them) but also they'll be frustrated w/ me if I don't. One thing I know is that in a lot of situations recently if things were flipped backwards my friends would not do some of the things I do for them. I missed Bad Girls Club yesterday : / I'd been waiting since December (when I found Gia was gonna be on there) to see it! But thankfully my best friend recorded it and I got to see it today!

The show was nuts. You can tell the show is just DRAMA-made now. Maybe Amy did have the right to be mad at Gia for throwing up on her... but they we're all drunk. Yelp, she should've had Gia "whip me down" *in Boosie voice* & keep enjoying the motherluvinnn' night. Really, though.. Gia is a little different then I thought she'd be. Well not much.. just I thought she'd be a tad bit more "gangsta" and "sweet"... like Amy would've never touched her, at all (period). *when Gia was lying in the bed, and Amy twisted her arm? The things that were going through my head. The things I was going through.. losing a bestfriend, having a boyfriend, loving my other bestfriend, adapting to my parents lifestyle, desiring so much - it was all so crazy. It's funny to look back on the way I thought and compare it to the way I think now. Some similarities and some differences. The way I spoke back then was so proper, the way I speak now is so in between.. you could hear the proper-ness in my tone, in my writings.That is one thing I do miss, how I used to "sound white". Loll, it gave me a awkward joy to say slang terms and listen to myself, "like wtf, I don't even sound tight." I'm glad I found that journal and got to skim through it (even though I can't find these old college papers I was really looking for). I hope to move on from the lifestyle I used to live. I was so immature in my relationship because of the fact that I was too mature at such a young age. I should've just enjoyed that shit, instead of trying to perfect it. I'm so old now I could cry.. some people say life starts after high school, but leaving high school fucking scares me and I feel like a big part of me is going to die. I just want to live. So I've been doing kinda good w/ this once a month hair thing.
I pressed my hair out around New Years Day and it lasted about a week. Poop.
I have not ironed my hair out since then, which is really hard for me.
I love how I look w/ straight hair.. I go through phases when I really like my hair straight and then when I really like my hair curly. The thing about having my hair curly for long periods of time is I run out of things to do w/ my hair. I get tired of big buns, messy ponies, and braids in different styles.
I really, really want to get a protective style for the month of February, but I don't think I'll be able to talk my Mom into it. I want long, curly, red hair sewn in. I think I'd look so fierce : )

I really need a new fucking job.
I hate being broke. I'm so pissssed at myself for quitting at Forever21 before realizing how WACK working at Urban Outfitters is! I really hope someone freaking calls me tomorrow for a job interview or something! I need money! I haven't brought myself anything since September or earlier. I can't buy myself anything. My school day was pretty rough. I realized so much today and felt so many emotions during JUST the school day. First of all, a girl at my school committed suicide, that by itself is saddening - then I begin to think about her best friends whom I see around the school very often (I only seen her once or twice) What if I lost my best friend? What if there was NOTHING I can do to keep my friend from doing something like this to themselves? I love my bff's ( Marcus and Deija ) so much. I know they have to be hurting so much.. so I cried for them. People say when you lose a best friend you'll soon move on, but I don't think my heart would ever heal from something like that. Seriously, I'd probably go light weight nuts and have to be put on some type of sane medication. I also had a friend named Janae who I used to be really close to ( she was my best friend for at least five years ) who tried to commit suicide, and had suicidal thoughts often. I took her situation lightly ( & even though I'm sure she did a lot of her behaviors for attention ) I cried for my actions of taking it lightly and for her jokingly saying such things or was she serious? That'll I'll never know BUT What if she did die? What if she really was trying to die? I would've died a little inside.

Secondly, I realized I love my teacher Schibley. Last semester I loved all my teachers, but this is my second semester having Schibley and I freaking adore her. At my school a lot of us love our teachers ( don't think I'm a creep, loll ) so when I seen her cry because she was close to the girl who committed suicide and her daughter was severely sick.. I cried. I put myself in her shoes - and I could not imagine having a sick child. This is all happening to her so sudden. Being a parent is so scarey, I don't see how people take the job so lightly. I'd be so worried and frantic at all times having a sick child. My teachers are my friends.

Thirdly, I realized I only have two best friends and I love them dearly and I would never want anything to happen to them. My best friend got in a fight yesterday and I O'so badly wanted to jump in. Lmao, I would've gotten knocked out prolly though - it was a mf boy fight -_- Don't under estimate me though, I got hands : ) I don't know why I wanted to hit the other boy so badly, it's not like he was getting beat up or something. Lol

I was just hearing so much at school today, thinking so much and realizing a lot. *deep breath*

& that's how I'm feeling now. ♥ ♥ ♥ *insert confused face*

So over my three day break I've been surfing through blogs big time.. and I've figured people really do love fashion and beauty blogs - but the blogs people really, really love are the ones they can relate to. The ones with juice, life details, the ones who feel the same pain and joy as they do. Today ( Martin Luther King Day ) has to be one of the most meaningful days to me. Especially coming from an African-American family, and knowing relatives who were alive when racist was still a problem. Every time I hear his name, I wish he was alive to see his change. I felt that way at a very young age... around seven I wished he was still here to see what he has done. I know he did not do it alone, but if there was no Martin Luther King, I am sure today we'd still be in some type of stronger racist environment than we are today. I wish there was more of a celebration on this day. Fireworks, family dinners, balloons, balls, or something that really made this holiday a big deal to many. When I have my own family I will make this day a celebration ; where we talk about history, eat a big meal, and maybe watch movies. Hmmmm, idk. Black Power : )

So my anger management therapist suggest from my talkings that I work out at least 15 mins a day to see if that helps change my mood. Did I ever mention that I even go to anger management? I am so stressed out about the whole college thing. So I'm currently texting my best friend and finally making a list of colleges I want to to go. (I've done this several times, but since I'm more knowledgeable know let's have a redo) I really wanna go to the same school as her, but life doesn't work that way. I want to apply to five-six schools. My list so far...

That's pretty much my list as of now.. maybe I'll add some - loose some! But I'm really scared that I won't be accepted into any college. I still haven't gotten my ACT score and I'm sure it's really low.. like a 15 because I basically skipped the math section :'( & (I'm going to retake it February 11) I didn't even take the SAT.. & I don't plan on taking it. my GPA is like a 2.8/2.7 I'm not sure because my school is wack and didn't hand out report cards this semester! I think it may have risen to a 2.9 though : )

I based schools off major, location and party scene : ) haha. I'm not going to college to party though, trust me. I will not be one of those kids who fail out. I will party though, party hard. But I made a promise to myself that my grades will remain like now, A's and B's ... or better.. all A's!

Has anyone ever applied to the dream list of colleges and not been accepted into any? I wish we did interviews for college, because I am great at those! I am hard not to love. I promise I am.

I have a notebook where I log whenever I feel angry, anxiousness or frustrated. I might need to stick it in my purse too. smh. Ha.
I changed after school like always, no snapshots. I always dress better after school. Every other year, I feel like my dressing is really bad.. and this is that year. B/c I'm in that in between stage where I'm not sure how to really dress for my age O_o I'm a senior, bout to be nineteen going to college. I really wanna wear heels w/ everything but can't do that at school.

but I ~~think~~ know that's because in real life I'm a very happy person. I never complain.. if I look like I want to express a sad emotion to my parents they start complaining about how I'm complaining so I don't even like to express myself to them. For a while, I was very open w/ my two best friends - well up into today. I'm going back to lowkey, solo dolo me. I know I said this before, but I was solo dolo me w/ my best friends too. Now, I'm just gonna be solo dolo. I enjoy being by myself more - it's more enjoyable to be w/ others after spending so much time alone. I'm not sure if I'm making since - but in my head I am. I wish I had a job that I was at all the time like I used to be, something to occupy my time like old times. I enjoyed being at work all the time, and spending extra time resting or chilling w/ friends. I hate having hella times on my hands! I will never understand how people go to school, come home, nap, do homework, bath, sleep, repeat. I feel like that's the life of a bum.. but my cousin just said that is THE LIFE. -_- I don't see it. I feel like you have to have some type of activity in your life ; sports, church activities, clubs, extra lessons or class, choir - SOMETHING! I have a job, that I might work once a week! I'm not feeling it ;'( .... actually I'm hating it. That's why I really need a new job w/ lots of hours to occupy my time! I would sew, but I get side-tracked so easily and I love to do it - but I have to be in the mood. I'm slowly turning into a bum, I like it.. but I don't like the way it makes me feel sometimes. & since I have nothing to occupy my time I am uber clingy to everyone mainly my two best friends. I high key don't have any other friends. My other friend (who I refer to as my cousin) and two other gals who tend to annoy me heavily but I enjoy spending a short amount of time w/ them every now and then. & I'm really bi-polar! Like I'm always telling my friend I can't be his friend b/c I'm being super clingy to him, annoying, obsessed, loll - but I think I might like him.. but I really don't want to it. It's all so creepy loll (that is the wrong word for it.. akward). I seem so crazy! I think it's becoming evident and I don't want this to happen - so I'm gonna try really hard to back off! Today I went to church w/ my Mom, cousin and baby cousin.

I recently applied to Costco's again and CVS for the first time, so I'm hoping one of them calls me back! I told my Nana I was moving in - it was such a jokey convo! It's just like I know my parents will take my car, and cut me off if I do. Plus, so many people stay at my Nana's already... where will I fit in? I don't wanna share a room w/ anyone but I don't want to take over the study. And if I moved, I would never be able to live w/ my parents again. No turning back. That's why I really need a job that guarentees hours and nice pay, plus more stable. I think it'll be much more fun living at my Nana's w/ my crazy cousins and aunt, and less strict rules. It's so annoying. I'm so ready to get out of here. I swear I should've gotten out of here a long time ago. I hate when they act all caring and annoying and shit and then the next minute they dgaf.. So since I don't get very much hours, I've picked up quite a few this week.. firstly I did it b/c I wanted to impress them since we were suppose to be having seasonal cuts here soon, which I found out we are no longer having due to people quitting (feeling like they're not getting treated right) and our business doing unexpectedly well. Secondly I did it for the money. I be so tired working there. I was rarely tired at my old job. I def feel the racism.. either people are over doing it to cover up for me being black or some customers are rude, don't speak, etc. (the location of the store is 98% white) It's really not phasing me though. I'm getting paid. I'm looking at cool clothes. I'm getting a discount. I'm smiling w/ hurt feet : )

I am such a blessed individual and I realize it every day.
My parents have absolutely rot me materialistically and lovingly.
I refuse to be a brat though. I can not stand a brat.
I look at a brat as one who wants, wants, wants w/o being appreciative of the things they have.
(I do want a lot of things, but I appreciate EVERYTHING)
or they don't realize how blessed they are, they just continue to desire more w/o misting in the fact that they have so much more than billions of people.
It really gets under my skin when my parents call me a brat.. I rather be called a baby or something.
& I can NOT wait till my parents and sisters open their gifts. I try so hard to get them good gifts!

January 12th is my 3rd pay day. I'm trying to get back down to my normal size by then, so I can fit into my old clothes and go shopping for new ones! Plus, I spent all of my first check on Christmas shopping, so I'd like to save one whole check (my second check) and use it when a necessity reason come up (gas, food, puffs, etc.) I'm on winter break until Jan 9th, so that means a change in my daily schedule... I'm going to have to really be on top of my eating habits, and remain working out.

Waiting to go shopping will let me have a pile of money (my check and Christmas money) & let me be more excited about it, plan it out well (I want to try on everything I buy for one!) and have a goal.

So I've been getting a couple comments about my court stuff..
Here's the deal.. I got into a fight October 8, 2011. (click date for post)
The school expelled me... it caused a lot of mayhem at the school and plus I was on the honor track so they let me back in after ten days.
Thought everything was over.. NOPE.
About a whole month later got a court order for battery.

Today, I had court. I was issued a diversion program which includes writing her apology letter, taking anger management and paying for her ipod that got stolen from her during the fight.
It was just an average in school fight blown up to the next level.

I'll be extra relieved when EVERYTHING is over and I'm away at college.

I can't even speak about the things that have happened this weekend... how much things have changed, the things I've noticed, the people who I obligate not to hang w/, the things I'm changing in my life... the last month of 2011 has been one of the wildest things for me.. as a learning thing. I have a hate/love relationship for it. I def learned I'm too much of a nice person, and not that that is a bad thing - I just need to be nicer to myself : ) Maybe I'm growing up, maybe I'm frustrated. I'm not sure. I've been through this feeling where I "think" I'm better off solo dolo, w/ family or my ONE and ONLY bff... and now I know I'm better off solo dolo, w/ family or my ONE and ONLY bff! I'm very irritable, stressed, and just maturing in a different way then everyone else at the moment - which tends to happen often b/c of the age difference of me and my friends, and the wisdom my parents and church is always throwing at me. I have to get my Mom a Christmas present and my best friend a present too. Then I'll be fine... oh, and Wednesday I have court :'( God, I hope they just throw the case out! Pray for me, and a awesome outcome. Finals are also this week, so I'll spend all tomorrow afternoon working on studying.
